How the 3 on 3 off schedule works
The 3 on 3 off schedule alternates three 12-hour shifts with three days off, a middle ground between 2 on 2 off and 4 on 4 off.
Each crew works 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts, then has 3 days off. The 6-day cycle means your days off shift by one weekday each week.
Two crews cover days and two cover nights, offset by three days.
